We practice medicine focusing on the “Golden Rule.” We treat patients as we would like to be treated. We enjoy bringing our personalities into the care of our patients, which generally means we can make you smile by injecting humor into your care.
In short, our patients come first and they will tell you so. We cannot begin to count the number of times we have had patients remark that no other doctor has called them after surgery to see how they are doing or sat at their bedside just to talk with them. These are just some of the things we do that set us apart as physicians and surgeons.
History
The practice opened in 1991 and has steadily grown since then. It evolved into Surgeons of Northern Illinois (SNI) in 2014. SNI is a full service general surgery practice providing quality, innovative surgical care to patients of Lake County and surrounding areas. All of our surgeons are Board Certified.
Our physicians provide comprehensive personalized surgical coverage with a high level of service and quality of care.
We have a busy practice consisting of nearly 40,000 patients. We perform over 1200 major surgeries each year and countless minor procedures in the office and the hospital.
We have extensive experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, but are capable of performing open procedures. We continually expand our knowledge and techniques to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.
